Correction to Kentucky State Tax Form for Solar Tax Credits

An error has been found on the Kentucky State Tax Form 5695-K (Kentucky Energy Efficiency Tax Credit) concerning the maximum limit of tax credits for commercial solar energy properties. The form had stated the limit as $500 but the actual limit is $1,000. The following correction was provided by the Kentucky Department of Revenue on February 5, 2010:

"Please be advised that Kentucky Form 5695-K, Kentucky Energy Efficiency Tax Credit, has been revised to update the limitation on Part II, Line 50 to $1,000 instead of $500. The revised Form 5695-K may be retrieved from the Kentucky Department of Revenue’s website: www.revenue.ky.gov (click on forms)."
